A landmark waterfront restaurant inside the Brunton Boatyard, famed for Kerala-style seafood and a panoramic harbour view.
Set on the waterfront inside the historic Brunton Boatyard, The Rice Boat is one of Kochi's most decorated seafood restaurants. Tables look out over the harbour where dhows still come in at dusk.
The kitchen leans into traditional Kerala preparations — moilee, pollichathu, theeyal — but treats them with restraint. Spicing is bright rather than heavy, and the seafood arrives so fresh it changes the way you think about a familiar fish.
Reservations are essential at sunset. Walk-ins are usually fine at lunch.
